A Brief History:

The 1960s.When I was growing up I had many relatives who were immigrants. They spoke mainly in Ukranian and broken English and I was fascinated by the sounds in their voices. I'd also watch large doses of Warner Brothers and Disney cartoons, laughing at the humor but also listening intently to the character voices. It was also the heyday of the British Invasion and thanks to The Beatles and many other great English bands I began working on sounding like any Englishman who I'd see on TV or in the movies. I quickly found that learning accents and dialects was fairly easy for me to do and I would listen very carefully to any new voice that came across my path, trying to dissect it and then recreate it. Aside from the great performers of film and TV I would also avidly listen to radio personalities such as Gene Klaven on WNEW or the great Bob & Ray on WOR or on Public Radio and of course the legendary Mel Blanc. During my first 2 years of college I tried my hand at doing college radio but I found that the regimen of doing a daily on-air grind was not my idea of a suitable career choice. I wanted to  do something different to use my talents but didn't know what to do. After studying with Ginger Baker on the West Coast and working with some local Vegas bands for a few years I moved back to the East coast.

In the first few years I did some commercial work mainly in ads for Personal Injury lawyers. I also had a small role in an Indie film called OUGHT playing an Irish priest. Then in 2011 a company called ACX was launched by Audible that offered the opportunity of doing audio books. I jumped at the chance and have been doing them ever since, building up my resume and working for some of the finest authors in America. I'm also a published author and my work is available as e-books on Amazon kindle, Smashwords, Google Books and Lulu. I currently live on the East coast with my wife Hailing and our family of cats.
